Well, I made it to one Spanish class - that was that. The next week I had to go to a conference and the next week I was dead exhausted from not sleeping the night before. This week I have Open House. So, now I wait until they offer it again and hope I don't already have things on the schedule. SHUCKS! Actually, to learn a language I need to give it my full and repeated attention. I struggle with this at this stage of life. Honestly, I struggled with this at ALL stages of life. Maybe I'm a little ADD.
This week the wood floors go in - beginning tomorrow.

mom,
after living in a spanish speaking country for almost 8 yrs and still not feeling fluent, i will tell you that to learn another language is a huge task. i think really the only way to do it is to complete immersion. i don't even have that here. so . . .don't be too hard on yourself. just be glad that the official language of your country is still english -even though it doesn't feel like it at times!
