Amy and I went to see this funny Tyler Perry movie yesterday. I love Perry's movies - they make me laugh, they make me cry, and they seem so very realistic. People in his movies say exactly what any normal person wants to say, but doesn't quite have the nerve, leaving one with a rather satisfied feeling. Tyler Perry is a Christian but his characters are very flawed - they cuss, they drink, and they have extramarital relationships. The one great thing though is that there is always a good lesson embedded in the plot - redemption, forgiveness, and a great word for God.
Amy and I go to every Tyler Perry movie that comes out. We are in the minority in the audience, but that doesn't matter to us at all. The message is great and the movies are entertaining. I recommend them highly!
