I need prayer over the next two weeks. A sweet little guy in my class is out of meds and can't even get into the doctor until October 8. He is smart and wonderful when on meds, but when off, he is perpetual motion and noise - humming, commenting on EVERYTHING said and happening in the classroom. He can't help it - but it's hard on the rest of us - especially his teacher!! I need an extra dose of patience. Why oh why don't parents take care of their kiddos and make sure they have simple little things like MEDS??
On the up side, I had a wonderful massage yesterday and slept like a baby last night for the first time in weeks. Ah, sweet oblivion. It was the Lord because when I went to school this morning, I had to face the above. He was preparing moi!!!
This coming week I get to go to a conference at the Disneyland Hotel - not a good year to be without my Disneyland Pass, but I am.

I know what you mean! Had a student who switched to the patch but it didn't seem to work as well. The kids really suffer when parents and doctors start messing around with their systems.
Oh..and what about the parent who is so busy that they forget to give the medication in the morning. The teacher is suppose to make time to call them??? HELLO...we are a bit busy keeping their kid focused and maybe about 3-4 others at the same time in the same situation!!
Teachers can do their jobs if parents would just do theirs!
